Principal's Message

Our entire staff welcomes you to the 2018-2019 school year!

I am very excited to begin my 2nd year as principal of North Mountain Middle School, and I look forward to working with you in supporting our students.

Academic offerings include core subject areas with regular and advanced courses, as well as electives for music, foreign language, and art. Additionally, students will be immersed in an authentic learning experience.  Not only do students learn in the classroom, but also through extracurricular activities. We are proud to offer many opportunities for our children to to channel their energy, such as AVID, ASB, Makerspace, Yearbook, and many other that may interest them.  We also have a strong athletic program for experienced athletes or a beginning athlete wanting to be a part of a team. We encourage you to encourage your student to embrace being a Husky and get involved!

North Mountain Middle School has an outstanding team and we encourage you to become an active member at our school. Please be sure to regularly check your child’s grades using the Aeries parent portal, check our school’s and teachers’ websites, and attend our school events.

I look forward to serving this incredible community.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, and ideas that you would like to discuss.

Kindest Regards,

Gil Rodriguez
