Message from School Administrators

Esteemed Husky Students and Parents,

We are excited to return for another school year as the Principal (Margarita Lanier) and Assistant Principal (Jolene Burdick) of our amazing Husky Family!

In these unique, unprecedented times, we as the North Mountain staff, have come together more than ever to plan and provide a distance learning experience for our students focused on literacy across all content areas, student engagement, and collaboration. Our dedicated teachers have been working hard as teams to ensure that students will receive the best education possible and thrive in our new virtual classrooms.

We are excited to see the new possibilities of distance learning and can assure you that our teachers will be using all available technologies to provide a high quality education to our dedicated students. We are anxious to see our students, engage them in new ways, and open up new pathways for learning.

We are very passionate about education and look forward to partnering with you to provide our students with a positive middle school experience. While there are many unknowns during these times, we do know that we will continue to work hard as a staff to meet the unique needs of our students. We recognize the importance of a strong home-school connection. Parents are their child’s first teacher and we believe that by working together with our parents, we can make sure that our child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.

We look forward to an exciting and a very productive school year!

We are here to serve and support you!

Go Huskies!!
